Committees

Activities: Coordinate and communicate the club’s activity schedule.

Environmental Liaison: Interact with other private and public organizations which have missions similar to ours, such as land trusts, local governments, and Connecticut government departments and legislative committees.

Historian: Collect materials and develop ways to display these materials to educate the public on the accomplishments of the Club.

Membership / Publicity: Maintain membership records, encourage membership renewals, and solicit new members through increasing awareness of our activities in the general public. 

Newsletter: Produce the Forest Passage - the club’s quarterly newsletter.

Social Media: Increase the public’s awareness of the Club’s mission and activities using online platforms such as Facebook.

Statistics: Track completed events at the member level and communicate significant milestones to the Executive Committee. 

Stewardship: Organize and manage work parties, sanctioned by the CT DEEP or the Connecticut Forests and Parks Association (CFPA), to maintain and restore trails.

Website Administration: Design, maintain, and update the Club’s website.
